Basketball has allowed me to truly grow into the person I am today and without it, I would not have been able to enjoy the opportunities, the people, and the experiences it has blessed me with over the years. I am extremely fortunate to have spent my childhood in a very sporting and competitive environment. I spent the majority of my adolescence influenced by my friends, of whom were Polynesians like myself; playing in a variety of sports ranging from netball to rugby, which were some of the best years of sports I could have ever asked for.
Since then, my journey in Basketball has taken me to places around the world where I have been fortunate enough to have represented my country on the world stage. Places like Dubai, Greece, New Caledonia, and Australia are all experiences I would cherish for the rest of my life.
I am currently in the United States as a student athlete at the University of St Francis. With the help of a lengthy list of people who have supported me in my goal of achieving an academic scholarship for Basketball, I am able to carry out my studies abroad in the city of Chicago.
I am very grateful to the Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation for allowing me to live out my passion for this sport and granting me the opportunity to continue growing alongside my journey in Basketball.
