I first found the love for this sport when I was 10 at my first learn to swim school based out of a small backyard pool with three other boys my age. My passion for the sport continues to drive me to achieve at the highest level on the national and international stage. Swimming has played such a massive part in my life over these past 9 years and it has developed me as an athlete and as a young man teaching me skills in and out of the pool. Moving forward towards the World University games in Naples, Italy, I have attained a new level of focus and determination I didn’t know I was capable of and this has seen me prepare for this competition like no other with training and racing times leading up to the games being some of the best times ever produced in my career.

I feel incredibly blessed and honoured to have the opportunity to represent not only my country but to also represent the legacy and values of the Bobby Stafford-Bush foundation. With the support provided by this foundation, I will be able to bring my skills, attitude, and determination to the top world stage and prove to myself that all the sacrifices and hard work are always worth it.

Nga mihi,

Callum Prime
