Before the age of five, I was already attending Tumble Tots sessions at the local gymnastics centre, and my love for gymnastics grew instantly from there. As I progressed, my passion for gymnastics deepened, leading me to compete for both my club and my school. Every success boosted my confidence, while every setback fuelled my determination to improve. After several years of successfully competing at National level, I am thrilled to have been selected to compete internationally in Texas in February 2025. Thanks to the support of the
Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation I will be representing New Zealand on the global stage which has always been a dream of mine. I am incredibly grateful to the Foundation and other supporters for helping me turn this dream into reality. Balancing full-time studies, a part-time job, and a rigorous five-day-a-week training schedule has been challenging, but this achievement has made all the effort worthwhile. I see this milestone as the first step toward my ultimate goal of representing New Zealand many more times in coming years, and I am truly thankful for this incredible opportunity.
